The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Truylos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elias Sengrat's late challenge caught a Independente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Sengrat helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Kakeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Sengrat. Julian Egoitz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Edvaldo Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Nestor Quintal came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kakeros FC's Evaristo Truylos. But to his dismay, Evaristo Truylos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Evaristo Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Quintal having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Elias Sengrat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Independente FC's zone, Dante Toribio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Quintal came out of the goal and Dante Toribio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauricio Mattin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pepe Ordaz during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Kakeros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepe Ordaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Dante Toribio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Quintal. Independente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Toribio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Edvaldo Tinoco got a free kick in the 87th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kakeros FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Independente FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
