The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, CON-E-CO's Zelipe Cariga got a free kick in the 15th minute. Llin Venero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in AFC United's zone, Fabricio Masseda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cisco Rubial came out of the goal and Fabricio Masseda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Llin Venero came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Gilen Martioda. But to his dismay, Gilen Martioda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. AFC United were furious when Martino Trabado was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in AFC United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egun Galan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51st play minutes Egun Galan shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Llin Venero and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Garin Cañizares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cisco Rubial was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute Nardo Torrecilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llin Venero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, CON-E-CO's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Alda came free, but Llin Venero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CON-E-CO's Miguel Castruita was substituted for Fabricio Masseda. The supporters of CON-E-CO booed when AFC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archibaldo Ahumada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garin Cañizares in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cisco Rubial prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egun Galan got free with Llin Venero in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to CON-E-CO getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Oriche Galdamiz hit a great ball. CON-E-CO's Bartolome Rosa was substituted for Oriche Galdamiz. CON-E-CO's Eriz Velazco was substituted for Marcelino Chirghentino. The supporters of AFC United booed when CON-E-CO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC United's Nardo Torrecilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Llin Venero. That made the score 0-3 after 82 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Egun Galan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Llin Venero was relentless in the 87th minute of the game.
