The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cayetano Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Kalemba, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Cayetano Behe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Kalemba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grzegorz Kalemba hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The supporters of Yelonki booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Maksymilian Dudkowski came free, but Cayetano Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szczepan Kieca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Nofre in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Maksymilian Dudkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cayetano Behe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Nofre scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Szczepan Kieca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cayetano Behe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachary Kieca in the 31st minute. If Maksymilian Dudkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maksymilian Dudkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Behe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Taurino. The supporters of Yelonki booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Yelonki's Dobromir Wodaszak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dobromir Wodaszak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yelonki protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dobromir Wodaszak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 42 minutes into the game, one of Yelonki:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Szczepan Kieca had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Joaquin Nofre's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Kieca in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when Yelonki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Gotfryd didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Joaquin Nofre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Szczepan Kieca. Yelonki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Nofre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Kalemba in the 65th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Cayetano Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Zachary Kieca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Behe. Deportivo Balvanera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zachary Kieca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Deportivo Balvanera's Venancio Chaime was substituted for Florencio Paz. Yelonki made a substitution. Arkadiusz Rozanski replaced Jakub Bobrowski. In the 72nd minute, Severiano Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes Yelonki got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Siekierski. In the 79th minute Severiano Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Grzegorz Kalemba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yelonki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 86 played minutes Yelonki got a freekick which was hit by Zachary Kieca. Cayetano Behe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Kalemba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard, long distance shot from Severiano Taurino flew over the goal. Yelonki's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
