Alvar Svanér was slow to take the kick. During this time Granville's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Severo Ulizes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Levente Makkai made a kick off. Başar Öztarhan made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Levente Makkai sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, Granville's goalkeeper Başar Öztarhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Levente Makkai. Granville's Pablo Sanson was substituted for Jaime Oskarbi. Generoso Eder made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Szajk LC's Gergely Takács. Szajk LC's attentive Gergely Takács managed to snatch the ball when Generoso Eder made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Zénó Polgár left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szajk LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Csongor Csorba couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Serafino Urko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from José Flores in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Szajk LC's Gergely Takács. Başar Öztarhan made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Levente Makkai sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Chi-Chi Branca came free, but András Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szajk LC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granville the free kick. In the 95th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gergely Takács to maneuver through the defense. Granville's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
