Luizinho Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Luizinho Paranaense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrey Denisov went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Andrey Denisov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 54th playminute. When Vasiliy Kulakov came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Курск ФК fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasiliy Kulakov couldn't finish the play. Juventus Telford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boris Basalaev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Basalaev in the 96th minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Luizinho Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Juventus Telford supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Курск ФК's performance. The match ended with a win for Курск ФК.
