FC Urzicuța's Sandu Vlaicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Urzicuța from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Igon. In the 8th minute Kulabhusana Karabashlykov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bruce Lee F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Carmelo Muno hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Reynaldo Pinheiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sandu Vlaicu. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 23rd minute Hernani Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Vlaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, İrfan Attar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zézinho Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bruce Lee F.C.'s Zézinho Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kulabhusana Karabashlykov in the 28th minute of play. Zézinho Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İrfan Attar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Reynaldo Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Bruce Lee F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Aurel Beldeanu sped through Bruce Lee F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zézinho Freitas. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Sulev Antsov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Florin Dragușin charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florin Dragușin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's Florin Dragușin got a free kick in the 44th minute. Sandu Vlaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Igon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Igon to make the kick off. With a little luck, Bruce Lee F.C.'s Zézinho Freitas got control of the ball when Kulabhusana Karabashlykov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes in the game Mustafa Hamit Abanoz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Reynaldo Pinheiro. 66 minutes into the game, Luís Guilherme Gaúcho threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Urzicuța's Senne Rondou quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The FC Urzicuța fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when FC Urzicuța's İrfan Attar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 71st minute İrfan Attar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruce Lee F.C.'s Zézinho Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Bruce Lee F.C. from getting a goal against them. Zézinho Freitas made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Aurel Beldeanu sent off a good shot on target. When Aurel Beldeanu fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Urzicuța's protests and gave Aurel Beldeanu a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Beldeanu. Mustafa Hamit Abanoz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. İrfan Attar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bruce Lee F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristi Chivu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Urzicuța's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Cristi Chivu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bruce Lee F.C.'s Zézinho Freitas did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Neiva in the 95th minute of play forced FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bruce Lee F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Urzicuța's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Urzicuța.
