With 3 minutes on the clock, Nilson Leão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Oranil! In the 7th match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gnýr Gnaust to maneuver through the defense. Pajala Sunrise's David Lindman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hílton Cosme, made in the 8th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Wenerdahl in the 13th minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Juan Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oranil's goalkeeper Juan Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hílton Cosme's late challenge caught a Pajala Sunrise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hílton Cosme helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oranil's Juan Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gýmir Gryc in the 18th minute of play. Hílton Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Oranil defense, Johannes Fernkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Velloso. The Oranil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Velloso should have stopped the shot. Paul Wenerdahl struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Juan Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pajala Sunrise. After some careless play in the Oranil defense, Gýmir Gryc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Velloso. The Oranil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Velloso should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Pajala Sunrise's Stig Larsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Pajala Sunrise's Daniel Hök played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Saldanha in the 36th minute of play. Oranil's Juan Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gýmir Gryc in the 39th minute of play. Kléber Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kléber Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Velloso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pajala Sunrise's Gýmir Gryc shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Juan Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gýmir Gryc in the 57th minute of the match. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Börje Axelsson replaced Paul Wenerdahl. The corner led to Pajala Sunrise's Börje Axelsson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Oranil's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Tingelholm came free, but Juan Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72nd play minutes Arne Tingelholm shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Juan Velloso and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniel Hök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio das Neves in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Sérgio das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oranil's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Johannes Fernkvist 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. The Pajala Sunrise supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pajala Sunrise would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
