Marcial Bakar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moreno Martins in the 12th minute. Aves Negras's attentive Enrique Perico managed to snatch the ball when 叶德光 made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. In the 18thth minute of the game Willian Pay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Pay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aves Negras's Jurand Banas pulled a muscle in his leg after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edgar Kensicki kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Pay in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willian Pay in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cãlin Damaschin saved CERRO PORTEÑO from getting behind. Aves Negras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Moreno Martins scored to the left of an out of position Marcial Bakar, making the score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Román Olmedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CERRO PORTEÑO's supporters rose to their feet, but Román Olmedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Bakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Román Olmedo to make the kick off. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moreno Martins in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Román Olmedo came free, but Marcial Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Román Olmedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Bakar was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Pay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes, Román Olmedo made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aves Negras made a substitution. Efrain Artal replaced Willian Pay. CERRO PORTEÑO's Bernardo Panero was substituted for Román Olmedo. After having played for 77 minutes, Edgar Kensicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CERRO PORTEÑO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Kensicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cãlin Damaschin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Artal's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the CERRO PORTEÑO defense, Efrain Artal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cãlin Damaschin. The CERRO PORTEÑO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cãlin Damaschin should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Artal in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cãlin Damaschin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Artal in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CERRO PORTEÑO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aves Negras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
