When Şehzade Ulunay came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Cisco Birlik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şehzade Ulunay couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Anelka in the 27th minute of the match. Eşref Köklem hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Cisco Birlik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Andreola came free, but Yaşar Şerif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Anfilogino Di Santo hit a great ball. Nicholas Anelka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Nicholas Anelka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bahattin Pektürk to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cisco Birlik FC's İstemihan Sadullah got a free kick in the 51st minute. Alberto Andreola struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Yaşar Şerif didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdieri. Yaşar Şerif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Andreola, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Cisco Birlik FC's Bahattin Pektürk got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The long shot by Bahattin Pektürk in the 79th minute really tested Aurelio Di Lullo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Erkan Atikoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkan Atikoğlu in the 87th minute of play. Nicholas Anelka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bahattin Pektürk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Aurelio Di Lullo made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Bahattin Pektürk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bahattin Pektürk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cisco Birlik FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
