Sorci Viola's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arturo Bonelli in the 53rd minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Anfilogino Chiola got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Edmondo Bertini kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Black Devils's Reynaldo Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domenico Sabatino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Efrain Salomon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Zoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Vinhas came free, but Domenico Sabatino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Domenico Sabatino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Black Devils booed when Sorci Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Vaiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Black Devils's zone, Beppe Zoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Salomon came out of the goal and Beppe Zoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domenico Sabatino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the match Sorci Viola got a corner. Black Devils's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Bonelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arturo Bonelli made a great header on Sorci Viola's corner, it was just that Black Devils's Efrain Salomon managed to reach the ball for a save. Black Devils's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Beppe Zoff scored to the left of an out of position Efrain Salomon, making the score, 2-2. In the 95th minute, Beppe Zoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
