The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when Garsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Bonelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 played minutes Garsås IF got a freekick which was hit by Göran Lindholm. Armando Bonelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Lund went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sven-Ove Stål fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bonelli having to interfere. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Di Sipio in the 15th minute of play. Göran Lindholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Bonelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Göran Lindholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfons Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Sorci Viola's Arturo Di Sipio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfons Sjö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ola Lund in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bonelli saved Sorci Viola from getting behind. When Garsås IF's Ola Lund in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorci Viola's goalie prevented a goal. If Ola Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Lund in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ola Lund in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bonelli saved Sorci Viola from getting behind. Carlo De Luca kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ola Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Di Sipio got free with Alfons Sjö in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garsås IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arturo Di Sipio was slow to take the kick. During this time Sorci Viola's players had a chance to rest. Ola Lund might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Bonelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ola Lund ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Bonelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Lund in the 36th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Garsås IF's Ola Lund made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Bonelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ola Lund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ola Lund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Bonelli. That made the score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. Ola Lund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Armando Bonelli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Lund got free with Armando Bonelli in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Di Sipio in the 63rd minute of play. Alberto Chioda kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Sorci Viola's Franco Piccirilli was substituted for Cosimo Toninelli. A collision led to Sorci Viola getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alberto Chioda hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Ola Lund made a precise shot to the right of Armando Bonelli. Sorci Viola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Ola Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bonelli having to interfere. Armando Bonelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ola Lund's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 81 minutes in the game Antonio Martano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alvise Urbani. Ola Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Martano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfons Sjö. Garsås IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Sorci Viola from getting a goal against them. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Lund in the 91st minute of play.
