A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sydney Moreno hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Cesaro. In the 24th minute, Abelardo Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Chumo. C.A Vientos Huracanados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 28th minute, Michel Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But to his dismay, Higinio Cesaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prudencio Fortun was the one to do the kick off. Abelardo Medeiros in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Chumo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. SE Palmeiras's Sydney Moreno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Americo Efraim in the 64 minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Abelardo Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Chumo. C.A Vientos Huracanados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The supporters of C.A Vientos Huracanados booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Vieira's late challenge caught a C.A Vientos Huracanados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. When the final whistle went the supporters of SE Palmeiras were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant C.A Vientos Huracanados side.
