Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Modesto Olentzaro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Armandinho Araújo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by El Retorno de Palermo's Bernabe Donio. But to his dismay, Bernabe Donio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vinícius Servaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Modesto Olentzaro made a huge save. The supporters of Diamante Negro DK - VV booed when El Retorno de Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Jerico didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Modesto Olentzaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Servaes. Oséias Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Olentzaro having to interfere. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Lino Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Olentzaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bommareddy D'AoustDaoust, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséias Fonseca in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Olentzaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bommareddy D'AoustDaoust had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Guaberto Rufio got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinícius Servaes to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Servaes came free, but Modesto Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Mikeldi. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Vinícius Servaes sped through El Retorno de Palermo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. Lino Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60th play minutes Hilario Mikeldi shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Armandinho Araújo and just under the crossbar into goal. El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Servaes in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the El Retorno de Palermo defense, Júnior Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. The El Retorno de Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Olentzaro should have stopped the shot. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Modesto Olentzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 84 minutes, Vinícius Servaes made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Modesto Olentzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Modesto Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 89th minute of the match.
