The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zdzislaw Zagrodny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the The Original Wonderteam defense, Ryszard Pilipiec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Boffin. The The Original Wonderteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Boffin should have stopped the shot. When Rafael Cutberto came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the The Original Wonderteam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Cutberto couldn't finish the play. Rafael Cutberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zdzislaw Zagrodny having to make a save. In the 28th minute Rafael Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Zagrodny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Boffin made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Jacek Kolbe sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, The Original Wonderteam's Philip Boffin got control of the ball when Jacek Kolbe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Cutberto in the 52nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Rafael Cutberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 60th minute, Rafael Cutberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pogoń Stawiszyn made a substitution. Kazimierz Dylla replaced Grzegorz Cupial. The Original Wonderteam's attentive Manuel Tande managed to snatch the ball when Radoslaw Trojanowski made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. A collision led to The Original Wonderteam getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Manuel Tande hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes The Original Wonderteam got a freekick which was hit by Karl Slegers. The audience was convinced that Ryszard Pilipiec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Boffin was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rafael Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Original Wonderteam's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Zagrodny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Original Wonderteam's Benjamin Specht was substituted for Valko De Hond. Alek Candries might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zdzislaw Zagrodny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
