The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giovanny Verhengen during the 2nd minute. After 18 minutes Brothers of Mercy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giovanny Verhengen who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Valko De Hond almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brothers of Mercy's Markus Nyman did a great save. Markus Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valter Ahlerot kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Markus Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Cutberto in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, The Original Wonderteam's Rafael Cutberto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Nyman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Brothers of Mercy's zone, Rafael Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Nyman came out of the goal and Rafael Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, The Original Wonderteam's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Lindgren came free, but Philip Boffin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Håkan Lindgren made a precise shot to the right of Philip Boffin. The Original Wonderteam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Roger Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Markus Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Cutberto in the 43rd minute of the match. Håkan Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Boffin having to interfere.

Markus Nyman made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Rafael Cutberto sent off a good shot on target. Håkan Lindgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philip Boffin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Brothers of Mercy's Markus Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alek Candries in the 92nd minute of play. Philip Boffin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Lindgren in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brothers of Mercy had won after a very even match.
