After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Marcelo Illanes got a free kick in the 46th minute. Lore Ziguenza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Harald Ennegren made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Inakhos Telis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monitor Huáscar and the Vejbystrand players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harald Ennegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lore Ziguenza having to make a save. 62 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Ennegren came free, but Lore Ziguenza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Inakhos Telis threw the ball into play from the sideline. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lore Ziguenza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Endrik Fuchs took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lore Ziguenza. Lore Ziguenza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Lore Ziguenza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrik Fuchs in the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Monitor Huáscar's Otsoko Llaria seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Otsoko Llaria the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Monitor Huáscar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Otsoko Llaria had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
