Lech Blochowiak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Mutu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Brickeen Wall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sébastian Bouleau. Braga Junior FC's Valério Matorin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jiang Fan Yu in the 27 minute of the game. 29 minutes into the game, Adrian Mutu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lech Blochowiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Braga Junior FC's Brickeen Wall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Braga Junior FC from getting a goal against them. Brickeen Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sébastian Bouleau in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Tours Football Club's Sébastian Bouleau dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Lech Blochowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sébastian Bouleau in the 52nd minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Brickeen Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cyrille Jenny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brickeen Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
