Mazaredo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Gaur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Gaur in the 8th minute of play. Domingos Ekhi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Boris Awage got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Benítez came free, but Edvaldo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo AFC's Lucas Gaur got a free kick in the 40th minute. Victorino Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Şendrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Arsenio Benítezs short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Edvaldo Gaspar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hal Haslem hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Edvaldo Gaspar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Benítez in the 89th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mazaredo AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
