In the 3rd minute, one of Sarmiento:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sarmiento. Raimundo Iratze's late challenge caught a Sarmiento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Iratze helped the player get up and apologised. Raimundo Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Delmar Hitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Ekialde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Maria having to interfere. Iker Maria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Frederico's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute Agustin Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 蔡庭峰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sarmiento's 蔡庭峰 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Gaskon in the 39th minute of play. 蔡庭峰 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Sarmiento's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Gaskon came free, but 蔡庭峰 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Isidoro Giraldo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of 蔡庭峰. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Iker Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Frederico in the 57th minute of play. Cleto Darien struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. The Sarmiento fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. When the final whistle went the supporters of San Antonio FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Sarmiento side.
