In the 10th minute Uriel Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Maslachenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Esperance's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Isias came free, but Vladimír Maslachenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Garaona hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arkadiy Barbarash during the 17th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Uriel Isias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juniors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Isias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Uriel Isias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimír Maslachenko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gleb Elkibaev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Lázaro Colon made a huge save. In the 25th minute of the match Esperance got a corner. Juniors FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Kazachenok ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 27th minute of the match, Gleb Elkibaev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lázaro Colon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 30th minute Arkadiy Barbarash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Uriel Isias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juniors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Isias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimír Maslachenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Ramiro Oliverio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Uriel Isias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimír Maslachenko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Juniors FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Esperance's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicanor Porfirio took the corner. Vladimír Maslachenko came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Juniors FC's Uriel Isias. But to his dismay, Uriel Isias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Vladimír Maslachenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Isias in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Uriel Isias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juniors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uriel Isias made a kick off. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gleb Elkibaev in the 52nd minute of play. Lázaro Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gleb Elkibaev in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gleb Elkibaev came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gleb Elkibaev took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lázaro Colon. Lázaro Colon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 64th minute Gleb Elkibaev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gleb Elkibaev spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Juniors FC's goal. Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco was substituted for Uriel Isias. Yakov Grafin made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Juniors FC's Emiliano Boni. Vladimír Maslachenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Frasco in the 68th minute of the match. Enrique Frasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimír Maslachenko having to make a save. Esperance's Vladimír Maslachenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Frasco in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Abrahamsson came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esperance's Vladimír Maslachenko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Esperance from getting a goal against them. Enrique Frasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimír Maslachenko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Enrique Frasco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vladimír Maslachenko, 1-5. Esperance's Gavriil Dolgachev was substituted for Gleb Elkibaev. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Juniors FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
