The supporters of Eendracht Vooruit booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goalkeeper Arneil Trossero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommi Armentier. Arneil Trossero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tommi Armentier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Fagerberg in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes Eendracht Vooruit's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tim Östlund who took care of the corner kick. Tim Östlund made a great header on AC Milan's corner, it was just that Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 20th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Östlund to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC Milan! Arneil Trossero had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Jiang Zhen Sen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 22nd minute, Jiang Zhen Sen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eendracht Vooruit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Atay Türegün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Bergdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Linus Skoglund got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Tommi Armentier notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of AC Milan's Arneil Trossero. Arneil Trossero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Tommi Armentier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arneil Trossero. Tommi Armentier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Bergdal in the 34th minute of play. Arneil Trossero was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Tommi Armentier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tommi Armentier really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. After 40 minutes of play, Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arneil Trossero was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Tommi Armentier made the kick off in the second half. AC Milan's Arneil Trossero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Hamvas in the 55th minute of play. Arneil Trossero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommi Armentier in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Niklas Malmström hit a great ball. Eendracht Vooruit's Gery Burhanuddin was substituted for Tommi Armentier. In the 61st minute of the match Mihai Encea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arneil Trossero skillfully saved the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Gery Burhanuddin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Milan's Arneil Trossero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Gery Burhanuddin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arneil Trossero. AC Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gery Burhanuddin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Jiang Zhen Sen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arneil Trossero having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Eendracht Vooruit's Gery Burhanuddin made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arneil Trossero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gery Burhanuddin took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arneil Trossero. Arneil Trossero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Arneil Trossero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gery Burhanuddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Axel Rydberg hit a great ball. When Eendracht Vooruit's Gery Burhanuddin in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Milan's goalie prevented a goal. Linus Skoglund's late challenge caught a Eendracht Vooruit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Linus Skoglund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Eendracht Vooruit booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Skoglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gery Burhanuddin came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Eendracht Vooruit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gery Burhanuddin couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Eendracht Vooruit fans cheered their team off the field, for while AC Milan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
