Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filomeno Nicholas took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Sabino in the 3rd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Camilo Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Mondragon came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Chorroarín's Prospero Sotil. But to his dismay, Prospero Sotil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Formentera's Florentino Felo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Florentino Felo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Formentera protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Florentino Felo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Chorroarín booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Pacorro kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chorroarín's zone, Herminio Ovando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Urbez came out of the goal and Herminio Ovando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Urbez was a little too slow when Filomeno Nicholas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. Camilo Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Gipuzkoa in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Octavio Porfirio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formentera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Porfirio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltasar Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Camilo Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Simon Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lisandro Remicio fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formentera's protests and gave Lisandro Remicio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Lisandro Remicio got a free kick in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Sotil came free, but Camilo Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prospero Sotil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Chorroarín's Camilo Mondragon threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Sabino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Camilo Mondragon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Gipuzkoa in the 60th minute. Camilo Mondragon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Gipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Sabino came free, but Camilo Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Chorroarín's Gogo Chago was substituted for Gonzalo Goiz. Chorroarín's Julian Abaunza was substituted for Prospero Sotil. Chorroarín's Astor Leizarraga was substituted for Benjamin Romo. 72 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Jusepe came free, but Camilo Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chorroarín's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Confesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Mondragon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chorroarín eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
