Don Schmeichel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Don Schmeichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Remicio's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Don Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Azibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Remicio in the 42nd minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Don Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piet Ørslev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Don Hoberg to make the kick off. Teodelina FC's Humberto Remicio got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Ciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Don Schmeichel made a huge save. A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sergio Conrao hit a great ball. Alvaro Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sander Venge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Mateus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piet Ørslev went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oluf Stensvang in the 90th minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hoberg United had won after a very even match.
