After 18 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Ulici. Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Loarte in the 23rd minute of play. Jon Loarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel Ramos's late challenge caught a Blåvitt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Ramos. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Valdo Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leon Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike Cassar Torreggiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Blåvitt's Vincent Lekberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. Giovanni Massa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mike Cassar Torreggiani having to make a save. When Blåvitt's Örjan Johansson in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a good free kick, Jesper Burman got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Leon Sport Club.

Blåvitt's Adalberto Flores was substituted for Konrad Gustafsson. Blåvitt's Michel Lundberg was substituted for Glenn Raeijmaeckers. After taking down the ball on Leon Sport Club's corner Eriberto Capixaba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mike Cassar Torreggiani quite easily take care of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Jon Loarte notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani. Mike Cassar Torreggiani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Johansson in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Urbez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's Jon Loarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Cassar Torreggiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Marcel Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
