The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tunström in the 3rd minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Jesus Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Jesus Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 8th minute of play. Jesus Luke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 8th minute of the match. Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Anastasio Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rönnöfors FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Per Stenberg in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Robert Boruta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Boruta came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Boruta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 崔光笑 in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Per Stenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rönnöfors FF and the Atlético Montserrat players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atlético Montserrat booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Stenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Tunström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jesus Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 崔光笑 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magne Gunnarsson came out and tried to block the shot, but 崔光笑 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute Konstanty Galagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Rönnöfors FF from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 崔光笑. With a little luck, Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Michael Owen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Sigvard Biörnberg replaced Pieter Koole. Atlético Montserrat made a substitution. Zula Jajesniak replaced 崔光笑. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Boruta made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Per Tunström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Henry Fagerberg. After 63 played minutes Atlético Montserrat got a freekick which was hit by Konstanty Galagan. Jesus Luke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Tunström went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Bertil Hellgren replaced Ulrik Sandwall. Jesus Luke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Tunström's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Jesus Luke made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Henry Fagerberg sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Jesus Luke successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bertil Hellgren charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertil Hellgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rönnöfors FF! Stelian Volosin tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Magne Gunnarsson. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-2 in the 88th minute. After 90 played minutes Atlético Montserrat got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Belarmo. In the 91st minute, Henry Fagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Per Tunström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Jesus Luke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Per Stenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Luke having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Henry Fagerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rönnöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4.
