The Kiev FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pacho Quintianan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when Kiev FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Kiev FC from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Guy Hogg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrows Academy FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Kiev FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guy Hogg took the corner. Kiev FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cirilo Frederico made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Guy Hogg sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Arrows Academy FC's Wen Jie Ting to a score. 1-1 in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Iturri was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Grzegorz Piechna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Piechna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Frederico was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Abastas in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Arrows Academy FC's Santiago Abastas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Frederico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Iturri couldn't finish the play. Arrows Academy FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
