The referee ignored CERPA's protests and gave Douglas Denturck a yellow card for diving instead. Fracasados's Mai Yao Yao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Fracasados from getting a goal against them. Eugenio Asier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theagenis Papageorgiou in the 65th minute of play. If Mauricio Macías had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Macías got free with Mai Yao Yao in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fracasados's Mai Yao Yao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Macías in the 89th minute of play. Mauricio Macíass short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Mai Yao Yao to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 95 minutes into the match, Fracasados's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Tonete came free, but Mai Yao Yao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
