Marcelo Barovero made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ramon Burni sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oktay Eğriöz in the 41st minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeca Fernandez made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Eğriöz in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Gombal to maneuver through the defense. When Gabriel Efraim came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Lobos de Carelia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Efraim couldn't finish the play. Paso FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lobos de Carelia for a fine match.
