A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Wang Yi Fei with Akira Taffarel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 30 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Primeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jairo Primeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Martínez in the 39th minute of the match. Toro Martínez scored 3-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Primeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Selatse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. DON RAMON 72's Jairo Primeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 61st minute of play. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Rolando Urtsua sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Jairo Primeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Czeslaw Kopacz came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Despidida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Czeslaw Kopacz couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Prospero Nataniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Primeiro was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper Jairo Primeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
