An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Damario in the 4th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chen Ao Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute of the match Skövde AIK got a corner. Riesgo Cero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrik Lönn ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joel Emeterio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Vladimirescu having to interfere. Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skövde AIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Emeterio was slow to take the kick. During this time Riesgo Cero's players had a chance to rest. Riesgo Cero's Donato Odilon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karl-Erik Norström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Reasco Das's late challenge caught a Skövde AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reasco Das helped the player get up and apologised. Reasco Das kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Lönn came free, but Cristian Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chen Ao Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Cristian Vladimirescu made a huge save. The throw-in from Joel Emeterio in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Skövde AIK's Georg Norström. 33 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Cristian Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Firman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Vladimirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 42nd minute of play. Skövde AIK's Henrik Lönn got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Cristian Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joel Emeterio fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riesgo Cero's protests and gave Joel Emeterio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Riesgo Cero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. Chen Ao Fan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cristian Vladimirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Norström kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 61st minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Erik Norström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lech Biskupiak in the 65th minute. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Firman in the 67th minute of play. Cristian Vladimirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Keegan in the 68th minute of the match. Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kubilay İmge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Vladimirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Hamrin came free, but Cristian Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Hjalmar Hägert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Kurt Hamrin hit a great ball. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. Karl-Erik Norström had great luck who in the 96thth minute grab hold of the ball when Santo Damario from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The Riesgo Cero players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
