That made the score 4-0 after 38 minutes of play. 46 minutes into the game, Anastasio Rito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Montserrat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despidida AFC the free kick. After 47 played minutes Atlético Montserrat got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Rito. In the 48th minute, Anastasio Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toro Martínez made a kick off. Jesus Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97thth minute of the game Czeslaw Kopacz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético Montserrat players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Despidida AFC.
