Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 9th minute of play. Atlético Montserrat's Michael Owen got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Luke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. Jesus Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Aureliano Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Boruta in the 24th minute of play forced Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Aureliano Karlo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 43rd minute of the game Segundo Belarmo made a throw-in which Michael Owen played forward. After 48 played minutes Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Karlo.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Boruta was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute Konstanty Galagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Aureliano Karlo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julien Staffelbach in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Luke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Julien Staffelbach made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Luke. Atlético Montserrat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 92nd minute, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesus Luke. Jesus Luke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Jesus Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoff Stocks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99th minute Zula Jajesniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 101st minute Atlético Montserrat were awarded a corner. Segundo Belarmo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Segundo Belarmo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Eztebe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Atlético Montserrat's Michael Owen in the 101st minute got a chance for a shot 101st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalie prevented a goal. After 101 minutes, Michael Owen made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Roberto Eztebe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
