A collision led to Konurbano Atletico getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Narcis Hurezeanu hit a great ball. Konurbano Atletico's Colin Kelleher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Cordearo in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Raimundo Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Botello in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tello AFC's Martin Billing. Uriel Cordearos short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Colin Kelleher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Konurbano Atletico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
