Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SAN LORENZO FC's Sebastian Iliana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 minutes Forever Tango's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Michael who took care of the corner kick. If Eriberto Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Eriberto Hug left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forever Tango fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th minute Sebastian Iliana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Vinicio Firme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edwin van der Sar. Vinicio Firme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Claudio Quentin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Forever Tango's Apolo Galsino got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Forever Tango's Edwin van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Forever Tango from getting a goal against them. Luisito Senio charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Senio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Senio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Iliana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Edwin van der Sar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Senio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Forever Tango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Peli to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Uzuri got free with Claudio Berriotxoa in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudio Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Senio in the 62nd minute of play. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Iliana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Forever Tango's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Iliana in the 66th minute of play. Claudio Quentin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Froilan Jatsu replaced Isaias Rosario. SAN LORENZO FC's Ciriaco Cordarrell was substituted for Sebastian Iliana. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Claudio Quentin hit a great ball.
