An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Caniggia in the 18th minute of play forced BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Wart Hemeleers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Roelofsen kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Mihnea Pogea in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Jelte Bleiswijk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Värdsholmen's Wart Hemeleers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wart Hemeleers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jelte Bleiswijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lemel SV were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after BK Värdsholmen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Augusto Mello took the corner. After taking down the ball on Lemel SV's corner João Augusto Mello fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wart Hemeleers quite easily take care of the ball. Wart Hemeleers was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Jelte Bleiswijk came free, but Wart Hemeleers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Fan Wei Jie got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Jelte Bleiswijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kåre Käcker fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Värdsholmen's protests and gave Kåre Käcker a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Kåre Käcker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kåre Käcker kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Claudio Caniggia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Dennis Bergkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemel SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Bergkamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Wart Hemeleers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Bergkamp. George Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Dennis Bergkamps short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Wart Hemeleers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Evert Åkesson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Wiklund was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Wart Hemeleers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dennis Bergkamp struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Wart Hemeleers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lemel SV. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Värdsholmen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Augusto Mello was slow to take the kick. During this time Lemel SV's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Ettore Petroni heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 94 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's Dennis Bergkamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wart Hemeleers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wart Hemeleers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Bergkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The BK Värdsholmen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lemel SV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
