Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) AFK Petržalka's Norberd Valentík started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jozef Ružinský in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessio Barberio saved AC Collins from getting behind. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Marek Hronský got control of the ball when Cristiano Ruggieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aspar Hagø charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aspar Hagø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Aspar Hagø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Tullo scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marek Hronský, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alessio Barberio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Ružinský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jozef Ružinský came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jozef Ružinský couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, AC Collins's Ciro Zola seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ciro Zola the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AC Collins protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ciro Zola had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave AFK Petržalka a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jozef Ružinský, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC Collins's Alessio Barberio. 1-1. Alessio Barberio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Ružinský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AC Collins's Mac Caron got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jozef Humeník hit a great ball. Marek Hronský stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bran Zinov's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Alessio Barberio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jozef Ružinský in the 38th minute of the match. Marek Hronský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bran Zinov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jozef Humeník hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bran Zinov made the kick off in the second half. Aspar Hagø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Hronský having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Cristiano Ruggieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Collins's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Ruggieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marek Hronský breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AC Collins's Bianco Di Lillo was substituted for Arrigo Di Luzio. After 61 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Tomáš Rigo. 62 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Bran Zinov came free, but Marek Hronský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Hronský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bran Zinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 64 minutes of play, AC Collins's Bran Zinov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marek Hronský was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute, Jozef Humeník hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Collins made a substitution. Fabiano Del Papa replaced Emiliano Tullo. In the 68th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Humeník to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Bran Zinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Hronský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Jozef Ružinský cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Alessio Barberio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aspar Hagø in the 78th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Marek Hronský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Aspar Hagø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Hronský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dušan Glenda hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The supporters of AC Collins booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Glenda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristiano Ruggieri came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the AC Collins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Ruggieri couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Alfredo Lemma made a precise shot to the right of Marek Hronský. AFK Petržalka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC Collins had played much better football throughout.
