After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Jailson Leão got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Mager came free, but Robinho Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Jan-Olof Hedling sent off a good shot on target. After 11 minutes, Jailson Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galo do Japi and the Team Rocco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jailson Leão hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Gösta Hamnberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galo do Japi's Robinho Cerezo didn't even have to move. If Jan-Olof Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Elof Mager made a precise shot to the right of Robinho Cerezo. Galo do Japi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Viggo Mellbad fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Rocco's protests and gave Viggo Mellbad a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Team Rocco's Viggo Mellbad got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Anders Bergman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio de Lima went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the game, one of Team Rocco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Galo do Japi a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benedito Bittencourt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Team Rocco's Anders Bergman. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Hedling got free with Robinho Cerezo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jan-Olof Hedling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Rocco's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Hedling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robinho Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sílvio de Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. If Harry Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Hedling struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Robinho Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Rocco. Team Rocco's Harry Blomqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anders Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio de Lima in the 68th minute of the match. Pedrão Jacinto hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 77 minutes of play, Team Rocco's Jan-Olof Hedling made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robinho Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robinho Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Hedling in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Hedling came free, but Robinho Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Olof Hedling took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho Cerezo. Robinho Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Team Rocco had played much better football throughout.
