Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Lucente in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Garaona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgilio Cordeiro hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Margarita's goalkeeper Flavio Garaona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Lucente. In the 21stth minute of the game Federico Lucente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margarita's Flavio Garaona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Federico Lucente struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Flavio Garaona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Udinese. Flavio Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Lucente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Cristiano Maggi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S. Udinese and the Margarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, one of A.S. Udinese:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.S. Udinese. Pedro Errolan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Flavio Garaona was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Federico Lucente showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Errolan during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Pedro Errolan got a free kick in the 35th minute. Flavio Garaona made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Federico Lucente sent off a good shot on target. Margarita's Flavio Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Lucente in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Medardo in the 73rd minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Garaona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Lucente's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Flavio Garaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Lucente in the 92nd minute of the match. Flavio Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Lucente in the 95th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Lucente in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Garaona saved Margarita from getting behind. 97 minutes into the game, Ruperto Bento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. Udinese the free kick. After 97 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Bento. For all the effort they put into the match, the Margarita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.S. Udinese.
