With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina got control of the ball when Narciso Belarmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Hrdina made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Venancio Ricart sent off a good shot on target. Martin Fossum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaston Boniel having to make a save. Gaston Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Fossum, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Monky FC's Gaston Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Javorčík in the 14th minute of play. If Martin Fossum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on Monky FC's corner Faustino Ospetsu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adam Hrdina quite easily take care of the ball. Adam Hrdina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Belarmo in the 26th minute of play. Adam Hrdina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monky FC's Gaston Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Fossum in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Belarmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomáš Javorčík hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Monky FC's Narciso Belarmo in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFK Petržalka's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute, Martin Fossum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Boniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Norberto Celipe hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The corner led Monky FC's Cleto Ourente to fire away a dangerous shot which Adam Hrdina despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jessie Fux kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gaston Boniel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rick Haremeijer. Gaston Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomáš Javorčík in the 74th minute of play. Monky FC's Gaston Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 90th minute of play. AFK Petržalka's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
