Kristopher Johnson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christopher Mussauer made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dale Fowler immediately put the ball in play. Nae Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesualdo Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Kristopher Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Gabis in the 16th minute of the match. Kristopher Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Lenin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Otelul Darmanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Jesualdo Pedroso came free, but Nae Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristopher Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Gabis in the 29th minute of play. Manole Brănescu charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manole Brănescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nae Pavel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesualdo Pedroso in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesualdo Pedroso was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Otelul Darmanesti defense, Jesualdo Pedroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nae Pavel. The Otelul Darmanesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nae Pavel should have stopped the shot. Kristopher Johnson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Lenin's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Dennis Berardinelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristopher Johnson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Dennis Berardinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Jesualdo Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. and the Otelul Darmanesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Otelul Darmanesti booed when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesualdo Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Otelul Darmanesti got a freekick which was hit by Dale Fowler. Jesualdo Pedroso might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nae Pavel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesualdo Pedroso ran back to his position shaking his head. Eugen Zeciu charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugen Zeciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Otelul Darmanesti got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Zeciu. The audience was convinced that Dennis Berardinelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristopher Johnson was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Milosz Gabis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kristopher Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Jesualdo Pedroso got a free kick in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Berardinelli in the 97th minute of play forced QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
