After 21 minutes of play, LegionArgentina's Alfonso Urko made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roni Van Hoyveldt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teofilo Huly charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Huly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, LegionArgentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Huly to maneuver through the defense. Roni Van Hoyveldt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Xacintu's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Van Mechelen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 69th minute, Rolando Xacintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Igor Raitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. YR Mechelen's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 79th minute of the game, when Maurice Van Mechelen after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of LegionArgentina's goal. Maurice Van Mechelen was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 81st minute, YR Mechelen's Leo Van Mechelen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. When LegionArgentina's Rolando Xacintu in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YR Mechelen's goalie prevented a goal. 95 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Xacintu came free, but Roni Van Hoyveldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. YR Mechelen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
