Hong Qing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Fernando Pratto in the 12th minute. Anton Donose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ximenez Caneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Donose in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Galicia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Delgado was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Lea Papá's players had a chance to rest. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Alvar Ponce was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ximenez Caneiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hong Qing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordairo Aveo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. When Club Atlético Lea Papá's Anton Donose in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 46th minute, Rafael Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Club Atlético Lea Papá's Honorio Endira was substituted for Gao Chuan. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo-Pedro Poy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bento Sepulveda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hong Qing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Deportivo Galicia's Bento Sepulveda made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hong Qing was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Lea Papá's zone, Bento Sepulveda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hong Qing came out of the goal and Bento Sepulveda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Deportivo Galicia's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Sánchez came free, but Ximenez Caneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Bento Sepulveda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Galicia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bento Sepulveda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo-Pedro Poy hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Hong Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Sepulveda in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Deportivo Galicia's goalkeeper Ximenez Caneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo-Pedro Poy. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Galicia's Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 95 minutes, Aldo-Pedro Poy made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Galicia's Ximenez Caneiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
