Simon Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Weterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Spams's Honorato Cordaro in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AZURDUY F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Spams's Domingos Errolan got a free kick in the 15th minute. AZURDUY F.C.'s Generoso Bemabe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save AZURDUY F.C. from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Simon Venceslao kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Generoso Bemabe. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th minute Alejo Weterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stipe Pletikosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Bemabe was a little too slow when Honorato Cordaro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. Generoso Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Evelio Artaldo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Generoso Bemabe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spams. 35 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Weterio came free, but Stipe Pletikosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Ortle hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Generoso Bemabe acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Simon Venceslao. After 42 minutes of play, Spams's Honorato Cordaro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Bemabe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Curcio came free, but Stipe Pletikosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Spams made a substitution. Elias James replaced Simon Venceslao. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Qwinton to make the kick off. Generoso Bemabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Qwinton in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Errolan in the 60th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Generoso Bemabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Artaldo took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Bemabe. Generoso Bemabe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Ovidio Qwinton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Bemabe was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Elias James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Generoso Bemabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Artaldo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Curcio's late challenge caught a Spams's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Curcio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Arnoldo Curcio hit a great ball. In the 80th match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Tome to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Spams's Domingos Beila tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Generoso Bemabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Qwinton in the 89th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Elias James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Spams's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
