Severiano Santo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Manuel Oto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gláuber Brodel. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Oto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Toninho Caca-Rato charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho Caca-Rato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gláuber Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Etxekopar in the 22nd minute of play. Severiano Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Meira in the 28th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habib Ali Picavea in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Santo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Etxekopar in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Grau got a free kick in the 36th minute. Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Caca-Rato got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Toninho Caca-Rato off the ground. Toninho Caca-Rato hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Caca-Rato didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Morro Grande E.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Habib Ali Picavea was the one to do the kick off. Gláuber Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Etxekopar went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Modesto Eufrasio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gláuber Brodel. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Eufrasio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Gláuber Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Santo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Etxekopar in the 71st minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gláuber Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Eufrasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
