Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Bazkoare in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stipe Pletikosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute of the match Pity 31 got a corner. Spams's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evaristo Avellaneda ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Evaristo Avellaneda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stipe Pletikosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Tebaldo in the 21st minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pity 31's Feliciano Foro got control of the ball when Domingos Errolan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Julian Bazkoare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Honorato Cordaro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliciano Foro. The goal made the score 1-0. Feliciano Foro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Venceslao in the 44th minute of the match. Julian Bazkoare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Stipe Pletikosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
