DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Vito Lange proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO from getting a goal against them. Vito Lange made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredinho Vieira in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Sapp to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's Habib Ali Picavea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 27 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Vito Lange had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Habib Ali Picavea. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito Lange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Jorge Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Morro Grande E.C's Ronaldinho Meira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vito Lange. Vito Lange yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Poirier was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Kaká Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Kaká Sampaio hit a great ball. Victor Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. Vito Lange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Vieira in the 65th minute of the match. Ahmed Sapp's late challenge caught a Morro Grande E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Ronaldinho Meira took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito Lange. Vito Lange dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 82 minutes into the match, Habib Ali Picavea notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Vito Lange. Vito Lange was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vito Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Jorginho Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Lange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jorge Sá was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After 92 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sá. In the 94th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Morro Grande E.C had played much better football throughout.
