After 14 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Félix Moreno. In the 17th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Santamaria to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Teobaldo Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Patricio Alvarado put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Melquiades Gaztea. After some careless play in the GuateFortín defense, Teobaldo Truylos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Santana. The GuateFortín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Santana should have stopped the shot. When Eliseo Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Dantae couldn't finish the play. If Alfredo Hinguanzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Justo Gomesano made the kick off in the second half. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Melquiades Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félix Moreno in the 55th minute of play. Teodoro Kismi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fidel Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Modesto Cordareo was substituted for Eliseo Dantae. Félix Moreno hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Kismi came free, but Fidel Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Gomesano in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GuateFortín made a substitution. Ricardo Mora replaced Franklin Henriquez. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alberto Santamaria hit a great ball. Marcelo Quijada kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Fidel Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Truylos in the 88th minute of play.
