Ivan Nisio started the match with the kick off. Feliksas Fenichev made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Czeslaw Kopacz immediately put the ball in play. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Mejía was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Luis Mejía successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mehmet Halis Özkoc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Mejía made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. If Ivan Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Mejía made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the game, Feliksas Fenichev threw the ball into play from the sideline. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Máximo Speedtsberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Luis Mejía played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Kopacz in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Czeslaw Kopacz in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Mejía saved ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ from getting behind. Luis Mejía made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. Emiliano Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luis Mejía came out and tried to block the shot, but Emiliano Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Szymon Pyrzyce hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Roland Schiavi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernando Selatse. Despidida AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Mejía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Luis Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Czeslaw Kopacz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luis Mejía was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Romulo Cedro was substituted for Basílio Vilanova. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Toro Martínez replaced Emiliano Velasco. Szymon Pyrzyce kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Luis Mejía took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despidida AFC's Arturo Arano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rogelio Erlantz in the 80 minute of the game. Arturo Arano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romulo Cedro came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernando Selatse could save by the left post. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nafiz Bilen, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Luis Mejía played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toro Martínez in the 88th minute of play. Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romulo Cedro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. Luis Mejía came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez. But to his dismay, Toro Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Despidida AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
