Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Nisio in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes Consejo del Mate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Schiavi who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Roland Schiavi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Nisio in the 8th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Nisio in the 12th minute of play. When Ivan Nisio came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Nisio couldn't finish the play. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Ivan Nisio got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Nisio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes Consejo del Mate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Schiavi who took care of the corner kick. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Roland Schiavi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rogelio Erlantz hit a great ball. Ivan Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Ivan Nisio. But to his dismay, Ivan Nisio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Basílio Vilanova received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out and tried to block the shot, but Basílio Vilanova slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. Luis Mejía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Santana in the 44th minute of play. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Luis Mejía played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 45th minute of play. Vicente Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Mejía. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Ivan Nisio got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Consejo del Mate's Cayetano Sagrario was substituted for Vicente Pernia. A collision led to ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Filomeno Birjaio hit a great ball. The long shot by Cayetano Sagrario in the 59th minute really tested Luis Mejía's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Romulo Cedro was substituted for Basílio Vilanova. After 66 minutes Consejo del Mate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nafiz Bilen who took care of the corner kick. Romulo Cedro made a great header on ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s corner, it was just that Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Bolo Bolaño came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Consejo del Mate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bolo Bolaño couldn't finish the play. Peyo Fonelleda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Luis Mejía skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 82 minutes into the match, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goalkeeper Luis Mejía had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peyo Fonelleda. In the 86th minute, Bolo Bolaño fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semih Recai, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Consejo del Mate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nafiz Bilen was slow to take the kick. During this time ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the Consejo del Mate defense, Semih Recai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. The Consejo del Mate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Orlando Gatti should have stopped the shot. Consejo del Mate's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
