Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Alvarenga in the 23rd minute of play. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Zellier came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them.
